I am a thoughtful, creative, and passionate art educator. 

 

I have a deep respect for each student and create a classroom environment that enables each student to create and think as artists do. I support each artist’s pursuit of his or her own approach by having students brainstorm, consider options, learn from their mistakes, and maintain a positive attitude. Students learn to solve problems and take responsibility for their

art-making process before, during, and after creating their work. In addition, I strive to nurture a sense of exploration, curiosity, and playfulness.

 

I have experience as a professional graphic designer, mural and scenic painter, and have a high level of expertise in drawing, painting, color theory, printmaking, ceramics, textiles, mosaics, murals, collage, graphic design,
and typography.
